Šulija & Partners Advises Airhub Aviation on Airbus A320 Acquisition

14 Feb 2026

Airhub Aviation Assets, a subsidiary of GetJet Airlines, has successfully completed the acquisition of one 2007-vintage, CFM-powered Airbus A320 aircraft from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (“DAE”). The transaction marks the first aircraft sale and purchase transaction completed between Airhub Aviation Assets and DAE.

Šulija & Partners acted as legal counsel to Airhub Aviation Assets in connection with the acquisition and worked alongside Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, which advised DAE. The transaction involved drafting and negotiation of the transaction documentation, coordination of closing mechanics and cross-border execution matters.

As the aircraft asset management platform within the GetJet Group, Airhub Aviation Assets continues to expand its portfolio through the acquisition, trading and management of aircraft and engines.

The successful completion of the transaction reflects continued activity within the mid-life narrow-body aircraft market and further strengthens Airhub Aviation Assets’ position in the aviation asset management sector. The transaction also highlights Šulija & Partners’ continued involvement in complex cross-border aviation and asset finance transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
