• Advising a major Russian airline on setting up a company in Lithuania and subleasing the aircraft
• Advising an Irish company on the lease novation and other transactional documentation. Legal assistance in closing of the transaction
• Advising an American leasing company on the leasing of an aircraft engine to Tajikistan and related transactional documentation
• Advising an international company on the acquisition of the Boeing aircraft from a Chinese airline and legal support in structuring the back-to-back sale to a financing party and subsequent delivery to the end-user

• Advising a local client on the joint venture with a foreign investor, drafting of a shareholder agreement, advising on certain immigration and labour law matters
• Advising an Austrian investor on closing the operations in Lithuania and liquidation of the company
• Advising a German investor on selling the shares of a Lithuanian entity and related transactional documentation
• Advising a Lithuanian client on various corporate matters in relation to expanding its business activities into the Russian Federation
• Incorporation of various types of companies (joint-stock entities, public organisations, etc.) in Lithuania for and on behalf of foreign investors, a daily corporate advice to foreign investors on running business in Lithuania

International Litigation:

• Legal assistance to an Irish company regarding the debt recovery from an Italian airline for the failure to redeliver the aircraft in accordance with the lease agreement. This high value dispute is currently handled by the English commercial court

Tax and Related Litigation:

• Acting on behalf of the Deputy of the Head of the State Tax Inspectorate at the Vilnius Regional Administrative Court regarding unlawful dismissal from the office. The court agreed with the line of argument of our attorneys, declared the dismissal of the client unlawful, reinstated the client in her former position as the Deputy of the Head of the State Tax Inspectorate and awarded the client of the Law Firm with an average wage for the entire period of forced idle time.

Competition Law Litigation:

• Acting on behalf of a local travel agency in the Lithuanian Supreme Administrative Court regarding alleged unlawful tacit cartel agreement for selling the flight tickets on an electronic platform. The Lithuanian Supreme Administrative Court referred this case to the Court of Justice of European Union for a preliminary ruling

Public Procurement Litigation:

• Representing a local travel agency in a long and complicated public procurement case heard by the Vilnius Regional Court and further the Court of Appeal of Lithuania. The claim prepared by the law firm acting for the travel agency was upheld. The results of the public tender organised by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania were repealed and the client of the law firm was elected as one of the winners of this tender

Criminal Litigation:

• Advising and acting for a foreign investor in the pre-trial criminal proceedings on an allegedly committed swindling of US$71,500
• Advising a foreign entrepreneur accused of misappropriation of the customers' funds
• Advising a foreign contractor on the initiation of the pre-trial criminal proceedings regarding intimidation and the alleged crime of extortion of property

General Litigation and Dispute Resolution:

• Representing a local travel agency in lengthy court proceedings in a dispute regarding alleged damages when a customer claimed to be entitled to change air tickets after the flight occurred. The Lithuanian Supreme Court is handling this case and the final decision is pending
• Representing a private client, a former deputy CEO, in a dispute regarding unlawful dismissal from an international IT Company. The case is being handled by the Vilnius City District Court
• Advising an Irish client regarding the debt recovery from a Lithuanian resident
• Representing a local ground handling company in a dispute with passengers regarding compensation of non-pecuniary damage incurred as a result of denied boarding. The claim has been successfully defended at the court of the first instance
• Representing a private client who requested the court to sanction (particularly, to impose a monetary fine) the defendant for the refusing to comply with the enforceable court ruling. Although the request was first rejected by a court of the first instance, the court of appeal agreed with the line of argument of the law firm and consequently the fine was imposed on the debtor
• Representing a local university based in Vilnius at a court of the appeal instance in a civil case concerning the tuition fees that were due by students who refused to continue university studies. The appeal issued by the law firm was upheld by the court and the client received a favourable judgement
• Representing a foreign investor in a civil case regarding recovery of EUR 40,000 debt. The case was settled during the court proceedings; legal assistance in further enforcement of the settlement agreement
• Representing a private client at the Lithuanian court and bailiff office in a debt recovery proceedings

Pre-trial Dispute Resolution:

• Advising a local logistics company defending a claim regarding alleged damage made by delivering ice-cream production from Latvia to Kazakhstan
• Advising a local ticket sale internet platform regarding ambivalence of returning the funds to the customers or remitting the same funds to the bankruptcy administrator
• Advising a local airline in the dispute with Danish maintenance shop

Taxation:

• Advising a Russian leasing company on tax implications regarding the helicopter sale transaction

Private. Employment Law and Migration:

• Advising private clients on the immigration, temporary residence permit and various Lithuanian regulatory requirements
