Employment of foreign nationals

We provide a legal advice regarding employment of non-EU nationals in Lithuanian companies and assist our clients with applications that are submitted to the public authorities. Generally, the preference in the Lithuanian labour market is granted to local residents, and a company willing to employ a foreign national must register a vacancy and look for an employee locally for at least a month before being permitted to apply for a labour permit for a foreign national. Usually, employment permits must be received before a foreign national arrives to Lithuania.
