Debt recovery proceedings

On 12 April 2016 the District Court of Klaipeda passed a default judgment upholding the claim of a foreign creditor represented by our Law Firm and ruled that our client shall recover the amount of US $ 266 873,77 (2 062 669,49 euro) from the debtor and its surety.

After due consideration of arguments and evidences brought before the court by the Law Firm the District Court of Klaipeda found that the debtor has in fact breached the contract and thus shall be jointly liable for such breach with its surety and shall pay the creditor the full amount of the debt, interest and penalty.

The Law Firm continues its well-established practice of defending actively the interests of foreign clients in Lithuania in debt recovery and related proceedings.
