Strategic ACMI Transaction with a member of the Lufthansa Group

3 Mar 2026

Šulija & Partners is pleased to have advised GetJet Airlines in connection with its long-term ACMI partnership with Eurowings, a member of the Lufthansa Group.

Under the agreement, six aircraft from the GetJet Airlines fleet will be deployed from Hamburg Airport commencing in March 2026, supporting Eurowings' summer operations and providing additional capacity across the Lufthansa Group's European network.

The transaction involved the negotiation and finalisation of a long-term ACMI framework, addressing a broad range of commercial, operational, regulatory and liability matters customary for airline wet lease operations. The project required close coordination between the parties across multiple jurisdictions and operational environments.

Šulija & Partners regularly advises airlines, aircraft lessors, financiers and aviation service providers on ACMI arrangements, aircraft leasing, aviation finance, regulatory matters and cross-border commercial transactions. The firm continues to be recognised as one of the leading aviation law practices in Central and Eastern Europe. For more information and media coverage regarding this partnership, please visit here.
