Our law firm advised on the acquisition of a Bombardier BD-700-1A10 aircraft by a Cypriot company and its subsequent lease to a Delaware-based operator for use in the United States.
The mandate included drafting and negotiating the Aircraft Sale Agreement and the Dry Lease Agreement, as well as coordinating with counterparties and regulatory authorities to ensure a smooth closing. The firm also assisted with the establishment of a U.S. trust structure for aircraft registration purposes and managed documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
The transaction, valued at approximately USD 11 million, involved U.S., Cypriot, and Latvian law, underscoring our expertise in complex cross-border aviation transactions.
