The law firm has advised a local leasing company UAB “Plieniniai sparnai” on the purchase of one auxiliary power unit (APU) and two aircraft CFM international engines from an American company and further financial leasing of the APU and aircraft engines to a Kazakhstan airline. Our law firm has assisted the client during the negotiations with the seller, provided legal support during the transfer of ownership to the equipment and its shipment, drafted the necessary sale and purchase agreement, as well as aircraft lease agreements with the end user airline. The firm advised on all legal aspects of the transaction, further finance leases as well as on related matters of taxation of income in Lithuania received under the finance lease arrangements.
