The law firm has advised a local leasing company UAB “Plieniniai sparnai” on the deferral of payments and extension of the lease term under a Finance Lease Agreement between the client and Kazakhstan airline in respect of 3 Boeing 737-500 aircraft. The law firm advised and assisted the client on renegotiating the pre-agreed structure of the payments under a finance lease agreement due to extraordinary circumstances in the world-wide aviation market influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic. The law firm drafted the necessary supplementary agreements to the finance lease and advised on the possible tax implications of changes.
