Šulija Partners Law Firm Vilnius has advised and assisted a Polish airline Small Planet Airlines Sp.z.o.o. in negotiating and executing an Aircraft Lease Amendment and Novation Agreement in respect of one Airbus A320-232 aircraft currently on lease to the Polish operator.
The law firm has reviewed the agreements, drafted relevant transactional documents related to the change of the lessor of the aircraft and submitted a legal opinion on matters of Lithuanian law in relation to the enforceability of a guarantee issued by a Lithuanian company.
The transaction covered various legal, tax and technical considerations and involved a close cooperation with prominent English and Ireland law firms representing the existing lessor, the new lessor and the financing party.
