Litigation - Shareholders' disputes

14 Jan 2018

The law firm „Šulija Partners Law Firm Vilnius“ successfully represented the interests of a local company in a case, where a dispute arose with the shareholder owning a significant equity stake in the company regarding the submission of the documents of the company (fixed asset statement report) to a shareholder.

The Litigation proceedings ended without the claimant’s demands being satisfied. The lawyers of the law firm in this case had been proving that a fixed asset statement report had the indications of a commercial secret, therefore, it should not be provided to a shareholder who controlled both the claiming company and the rival one. The case was processed in the first instance Kaunas district court. The dispute will presumably move to the court of appeal.
