Šulija Partners Law Firm Vilnius has assisted AB AviaAM Leasing, a Warsaw Stock Exchange listed global aviation holding company, in the sale of four Airbus A321 aircraft to a subsidiary of GTLK Europe, an Ireland-based international leasing company. All aircraft are on lease to Small Planet Airlines, the European leisure carrier and the law firm also assisted AB AviaAM Leasing and Small Planet Airlines on the lease novation transactions with the new owner in respect of all 4 aircraft. 

According to Tadas Goberis, the Chairman and CEO of AB AviaAM Leasing, “this is a splendid end of one of many voluminous projects”.

Gintautas Šulija and Eduard Plešak from Šulija Partners Law Firm Vilnius advised AB AviaAM Leasing and Small Planet Airlines on this complex transaction. Small Planet Airlines was also supported by in-house legal team. The role of Šulija Partners also included negotiations with Maples, the Irish lawyers and Clifford Chance LLP (Warsaw and London office), the lawyers of a financing party, regarding the removal of the Irish, Polish and English security from the aircraft from the Aircraft prior to the sale of four 

Airbus aircraft to a subsidiary of GTLK Europe.    

GTLK Europe was advised by Ilya Dvorkin and Vadim Turtsev from Allen & Overy Moscow office.
