On 25 October 2016, the international Aviation Forum was held in Lithuania for the first time. The Forum was dedicated to discussing various issues pertaining to the current condition and possible development of the aviation sector in Lithuania in the international context.

Aviation Forum brought together Lithuanian aviation industry leaders, commercial and governmental representatives, local and foreign professionals and experts. The Forum was opened by the Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania. The Director of Lithuanian CAA and representatives of international aviation companies, such as Small Planet Airlines and Turkish Airlines, as well as many others honorable guests spoke at the Forum.  

Dr. Gintautas Šulija, the Managing Partner of Šulija Partners Law Firm Vilnius, was also invited to give a speech at the Forum as an expert of Lithuanian aviation law on the topic “Doing Aviation Business in Lithuania: Challenges and Pitfalls”.
