Disputes regarding alleged unfair competition

On 17 October 2012, the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania upheld a special complaint prepared by “Šulija Partners Law Firm Vilnius”, whereby it was requested for suspending the validity of the resolution of the Competition Council of the Republic of Lithuania No. 2S-9 dated 7 June 2012 “On the compliance of actions of entities engaged in the sale of package tours and other related activities with the requirements of Article 5 of the Law on Competition of the Republic of Lithuania and Article 101 of the Treaty on Functioning of the European Union” in respect of the represented travel agency. This means that the obligation to pay a fine of more than 100,000 Litas was suspended until the dispute is finally resolved.
