On 12 June 2012 the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania approved the draft amendment to Article 19 of the Political Parties, Political Campaign Financing and Financial Control Law under which the time for agitation scenes shown on television during the election campaign is reduced from 90 to 30 seconds.
