Establishment of companies via the internet

19 Sep 2011

Since 19 September, 2011, public institutions in the Republic of Lithuania can be established via the Internet. The main advantage of establishing the basic institutions via the Internet is that the founder is not required to visit the office of public notary or the Centre of Registers - all registering operations are carried out by the self-service system of the register, and documents necessary for the establishment can be signed digitally. Currently, the Internet also allows to set up individual companies, private companies and associations.
