On 16 June 2011 the Law amending Article 172-2 of the Administrative Code (Administracinių teisės pažeidimų kodeksas) was adopted. The new regulation sanctions the non-delivery of legal entity’s annual report to the Register of Legal Persons. This law is related the recently amended Article 12 of the Law on Public Organisations. This Article sets forth an obligation to submit the annual report to the Register of Legal Person and to publish it on the website of the public organization. The new law is scheduled to come in force as of 1 November 2011.
