On 7 June 2011 the Law on the Temporary Agency Work was officially published. Except some provisions, the Law will come in force on 1 December 2011. This Law has implemented the Directive 2008/104/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of 19 November 2008 on temporary agency work in Lithuania. The Law applies to workers with employment relationship with a temporary work agency who are assigned to user undertakings to work temporarily under this supervision and direction.
