Dr. Gintautas Šulija gained extensive expertise in managing large-scale international transactions, navigating complex M&A deals, and facilitating resolution for local companies involved in disputes with foreign partners. His professional career includes working as a contract attorney at Fried, Frank, Harris, Schriver & Jacobson LLP (London office) from 2007 to 2008, as well as earlier roles at a local Lithuanian law firm.
Currently, he heads both the Corporate and M&A, as well as the Commercial practices at our firm. Gintautas routinely represents foreign corporations, safeguarding their investments and fostering business development in Lithuania.
Over the past 15 years, he has advised on over 100 notable aircraft finance transactions, facilitating the sale, lease, and financing of both factory-new and used Airbus, Boeing, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, Pilatus, and Diamond aircraft.
Starting from 2016, Gintautas was listed as a leading individual in the shipping and transport area of EMEA Legal 500. In 2017, Gintautas Šulija was named among other thought leaders nominated by Who is Who Legal 2017 who received the highest number of nominations from peers, corporate counsel, and other market sources.
